You will then have to tilt the seat that you want to fix the seat cover forward. This should allow you access to the back of the seat. You should not tilt the entire seat forward though this is can be done when you are not in a position to access the back.

With this achieved, you need to position the car seat covers over the seat and then slide it down the entire seat from the top. As much as it might be quite challenging to completely pull it down, the snug fit will be of much use and that it will enhance its appearance once installed. You need to ensure that it is perfectly fitting so as to avoid wrinkles which tend to be uncomfortable when you seat on the car. You also have to ensure that the seat cover is pulled to the base of your seat. This might require that you stretch it so as to completely reach over the base. When stretching, you need to be cautious so as not to tear the seat cover. This though will depend with the material of the seat cover.

There are hooks that come with car seat covers hence you need to use them so as to fasten the underside. This can be done in that they can be fastening to each other or any other things under the seat as long as they hold. You however need to be wary so as not to place the hook in the sliding bar of the seat cover. Finally, you need to cut small slits on the top of the car seat covers so as to allow the headrest to perfectly fit in position. This slit should be small for the car seat covers will stretch it with time.
